Since 1958, AIS has designed many valuable programs which assist them towards self-sufficiency and building better communities. Chief among these is providing scholarships for needy Native Americans to attend colleges and vocational schools.

Applicants must: (1) Be enrolled in a university, college, junior college or technical school (2) Be One-Quarter (1/4) Northern-Native American Indian Blood. (3) Be an undergraduate student with no more than 150 semester credits or 210 quarter credits. (4) Be a full-time or part-time status - excluding non-credit courses. (5) Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.25
