The Society of Manufacturing Engineers offers several scholarships for high school senior, undergraduate, and graduate students who are studying manufacturing engineering.
Qualifications
All Applicants Must: 1) Be pursuing a degree in manufacturing engineering, manufacturing engineering technology, or a closely related manufacturing field of study. 2) Reside in and attend an accredited institution in the United States or Canada. 3) Meet minimum requirements as outlined in the individual scholarship descriptions.
Amount
Successful scholarship applicants will receive a minimum award of $1,000.

Qualifications
Any currently enrolled freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior who will be registered as an undergraduate in fall 2007, is a member of his/her local ASCE Student Chapter/Club and is an ASCE National Student Member may apply for this scholarship. Must be a member in good standing at the time of application and award. Membership applications may be submitted with scholarship application. Not more than one application may be submitted from the membership of any one Student Chapter/Club. Selection is based on the applicant's justification of award, educational plan, academic performance and standing, potential for development, leadership capacity, ASCE activities, and financial need.
