Applicants must be accepted into, or in the process of applying to, a graduate program in accounting that will enable them to sit for the CPA Examination at a college or university whose business administration program is accredited by the AACSB - The International Association for Management Education or the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). Applicants must express the intention to pursue a CPA certificate. Students who are already actively participating in a graduate accounting program are not eligible for the scholarship. The IIPP welcomes applications from undergraduate sophomores who: 1) Are enrolled full-time at an accredited four-year baccalaureate-granting institution; 2) Are U.S. Citizens or legal residents (documentary support required); 3) Have a minimum 3.2 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale); 4) Possess strong analytical skills; 5) Have a strong demonstrated interest in international affairs; 6) Are an underrepresented minority (African American, Hispanic/Latino American, Asian American, American Indian, Alaskan Native, Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander); and 7) Plan to seek admission to a two-year master's degree program in international affairs.
