There are three different internship programs in Washington, D.C. for the students to choose from. They are the Engalitcheff Institute on Comparative Political and Economic Systems (ICPES); the Institute on Political Journalism (IPJ); and the Bryce Harlow Institute on Business and Government Affairs (IBGA). Although students should apply to the institute that closely matches their career interests, students may apply to more than one institute. Furnished four-person apartments will be provided on campus and students will enroll full-time at Georgetown University. Students will enroll in two courses that are three credit hours each at Georgetown University. An additional three credits for completing the internship may be obtained from students' home universities.
Deadline
The early application deadline is January 15, and the final deadline is March 31.
Qualifications
Undergraduate students who have completed two semesters at an accredited college/university are eligible to apply.
Amount
Many scholarship opportunities are available. Cost of the program for Georgetown University tuition (6 credits) and housing is $5,195.
