Maryland Distinguished Scholar: Talent in the Arts

Description:
Awards for dance, drama, visual arts, and vocal and instrumental music. Winners determined by panel of judges. Applicant's parents (if applicant is dependent) must be Maryland residents. Students not funded initially will be placed on waiting list; funds may not be available to award all eligible students. Award is automatically renewed if annual minimum 3.0 GPA and other eligibility requirements are maintained.

Qualifications:
Audition. Nomination required. Nomination by designated magnet high schools in spring of junior year.
